4 months of updates....

Well, it's been a while so here's what has been going on.

The Orphan Love Mud Run was a HUGE success and in the end we raised over $17,000 total and 7 families were blessed with money to help bring their children home.

Our next event has been planned out and we are SO very excited about it. His Little Feet will be returning to Ada, OK and this time with children from India, Ethiopia and Haiti. We will be having the performances at H2O Church on March 3rd and more information regarding the specifics of that will be announced soon.

We are also planning the next Orphan Love Mud Run for 2013, YES we are! The date has not been set in stone yet but will likely be at the end of Septemeber like last year (of course scheduling around other mud runs and OU games...you know the important stuff). Since we planned the last one in 2 months and it was great we figure we can plan this next one way in advance and it will be AMAZING, we have some exciting things to add to it this year so stay tuned...

The O'Neals

(International adoption) Jason and I have 2 children. Our youngest is our biological son and our oldest came to us from Ethiopia via adoption. Adoption has been in both of our hearts for a long time and we are blessed to have been able to be on the journey we were on for over 2 years to bring our oldest home from Africa and don't plan on stopping there. We have had our eyes opened to the reality that exists & know that we cannot shelter ourselves from the fact that millions of children are waiting for the forever family and in the mean-time some may not survive. We know how blessed we are & know we can make sacrifices in our lives for another human being. Adoption is tough, emotionally, financially and physically, from the beginning to the end but we wouldn't have it any other way. Overcoming the challenges we have been given has made us stronger and brought us closer to God and we are forever grateful for the opportunity. ~Joely O'Neal

The Emrichs

Since our first son's birth I have definitely become more sensitive to neglected or abused children. It breaks my heart to think of the situations that some children have to grow up in. They have no choice in the matter and have no control over their future. I know what a relatively easy life my children have with no worries or concerns about their safety or provision from us. I hope that I can make a difference in someone else's life who wasn't dealt such a good hand in life. I would like to show them love and encouragement and give them hope. I know I can't help the entire world, but I can try to help one person/family at a time and see where God leads me.

The Densons

Personally, I feel convicted to reach out to these kids to let them know that God loves them. To spend real time with them in mentoring, caring for their needs and working to find forever families for them. Encouraging christian families who want to adopt but need information, finances or support. To exhort the local church to step up and practice "pure and undefiled religion." Cari and I have 2 kids, but don't see the point in having more of our own when there are so many that need a forever family. If you want to see an end to abortion, adopt so many they are all wanted. Adopt them all before they are adopted by abusive parents. Adopt them into christian homes and teach them all about Christ before the non-christian can. God has a plan for these kids. That plan is the church. There is no plan B.
